Summer Program 2025

• SESSION 1: FUN UNDER THE OCEAN & YOGA (June 16th – June 27th )

  During this camp, our campers will discover the amazing creatures that lurk in their depths! They will learn about the 5 oceans, types of animals that live in the ocean, marine habitat features and learn how a fish can breathe underwater. The campers will dance and tumble, sing songs, play games, and make all kind of coastal crafts. They will also explore the ocean wonders through STEM activities, sensory fun, and few cooking projects. In this yoga week there will be a positive and fun class for the littlest yogis explores simple yoga poses, while incorporating stories, music, and playful yoga games. The class focuses on fine and gross motor skills, body awareness, sensory and physical exploration, and social skills. A portion of class is spent as open free play with various motor and sensory activities (like balance beam, pom-poms, scarves, obstacle course, and more). We will practice our stretches, do meditation and relaxation at our indoor Zen Garden

  
  
• SESSION 2: Launch into outer space/ Fairy tale fantasy. ( June 30th- July 11th )

  During the first week we will talk about the space, planets, and rockets. Learning about space is all about the unknown, the ‘what if?’ s and the fascinating questions. It helps children become creative thinkers, to challenge current theories and to question uncertainties. Spark imagination and offer moral lessons – Fairy Tales. Children learn from the mistakes of characters in these stories, which helps them with their critical thinking skills. Fairy tales also model behavior for children and provide a context in which children can evaluate their own emotions and decision making.

  
  
• SESSION 3: STEM/Inventors Club/ Let’s go camping! (July 14th-July 25st )

  This camp features fun filled, hands on science theme activities like building catapults and forts, assembling sets of circuits with batteries and light bulb. Let GVMS be your laboratory, conduct experiments, tests theories. We will become scientists this week. Children will take a virtual camping trip and will explore all about camping. We will make tents, campfire stories, fishing games, flashlight reading, s’mores on a stick, sleeping bags and many more. Join us for a fun, camping, marshmallow and more.

  
  
• SESSION 4: Mission Impossible/ Prehistoric Creatures/ Music moves us (July 28th – August 8th )

  Attention all agents! We have secret mission, and we need your help! Join us for a week of riddles and clues that will send us on the ultimate adventure. We will create detective badges, invisible messages and play treasure hunts. Teachers will turn the classroom into an escape room. Campers must solve all clues/riddles to escape. Children will explore about prehistoric creatures like dinosaurs, they will become paleontologists and discover fossils and bones. It will be a fun week with volcanoes. Dinosaur egg hatching, dino dig and much more. We will also explore different musical instruments, rhythms and incorporate movement activities.
